This new garden design is for a large and lovely 1930s house in central Bournemouth. The garden was designed to be informal with cottage style planting surrounding an attractive area for the family to entertain and relax. The existing retained beds around the garden will be replanted with a mixture of shrubs, perennials and annuals.
The planting plan for the central Bournemouth garden includes a new area of cottage garden style planting around the seating area.
The Eco-Discovery Garden for a school met every requirement of their complex brief. They loved every aspect of the design including the wildlife pond, raised beds for vegetables and fruit, the living roof on the teaching area and planting to attract birds and insects.
A small but interesting low maintenance garden for a professional couple with the emphasis on an area for entertaining friends and relaxation. An exotic and tropical feel to the planting suited the coastal location perfectly.
An alternative design for the coastal garden with a modern twist, showing how interesting even a small garden can be with curving paths, an unusually shaped pond, low maintenance planting and a private area for relaxing and entertaining.
A new large country garden with a formal style, space for entertaining, stunning planting and the latest outdoor lighting technology.
This design for a charitably funded retreat for adults with disabilities had native planting to attract wildlife, raised beds and wide paths for wheelchair users with ponds for a tranquil atmosphere to the garden. Screening for the residents was provided by a low wall and timber structure with a profusion of climbing plants which surrounded a timber decked area for barbeques and entertaining.
This beautiful old walled garden in a rural setting had space for the family to entertain with a pretty outlook on cottage garden planting. The archway to the screened part of the garden had a well designed and practical area devoted to vegetable growing - with greenhouse, shed and a raised summerhouse which has far reaching views across the surrounding countryside.
This simple design for an advertising agency was to be viewed from offices above and maximum use of the space was required for entertaining clients. Screening at the bottom of the garden with the use of a timber structure and planting successfully provided privacy from neighbouring properties.
